The Curve Ball game is a great little 3D adventure that puts you inside the Pong screen. Not only that, but it also gives you the ability to curve the ball by putting a spin on it.
The game has 10 levels, each with increasing difficulty and speed. To start, center your paddle on the ball and click it (or tap it). Then, just move your mouse or finger around the screen to control the paddle.
As you play each round, the ball will get faster and faster until one player misses it. The computer opponent starts out fairly slow, and it's not too hard to make it miss the first few shots. However, it gets smarter as you continue playing.
It may take you a few tries to get the hang of where the ball is on the screen in terms of how close it is to your paddle. (I wondered why the ball kept getting bigger; then it hit me...)
What makes the Curve Ball game really fun is the ability to put a spin on the ball. To do that, just be sure your paddle is moving as you hit the ball. Doing so will cause the ball to curve in the opposite direction your paddle is moving. Keep in mind, though, that your computer opponent can curve the ball, too!
You'll get bonus points for accuracy (hitting the paddle in the center) and for the amount of curve you put on it.
Think you can beat my Level 7 high score of 21,550?

How to Play Curve Ball 3D Game
To start, center the paddle over the ball and click it. Use your mouse or finger to move the paddle and hit the ball back to your opponent. Slide the paddle as it hits the ball to create a spin, which curves the ball. The faster your paddle is sliding as it contacts the ball, the greater the spin will be. You get five "lives," for the game. Your opponent gets three lives per level.
Tips and Tricks
Start out playing the ball fairly straight, without much spin. Then, on the third volley, try putting a sharp spin on the ball for a steep curve. Be careful, though, because you want to be sure the paddle actually makes contact with the ball.
Curve Ball Game Review
I've played Curve Ball off and on ever since it was a mere Flash game. I can't get much past level 6, but it's still fun. Kinda frustrating when it starts going too fast for me to keep up, but that's a "me" problem. Be sure and check out our other great Arcade games!
