Test your chess skills against the computer or play against a real opponent in this classy 3D chess game. The game can teach you the basics of chess by showing you the possible moves when you click a piece, or you can switch to a mode that assumes you already know the basics. There's also a timed mode if you'd like to play using chess clocks.
The game allows you to choose white or black, or you can let the choice be more random (like in the Netflix show Queen's Gambit). If you need to take a break, you can save your progress and return to it later. Try two-player mode and reenact the climactic battle between Beth Harmon and Vasily Borgov - or imagine yourself as Benny Watts or Harry Beltik if you prefer.

3D Chess Game Review
I'll admit that I'm not a chess expert by any stretch of the imagination, and I don't know whether this chess game is difficult enough to be challenging to a grand master. However, it's at least hard enough for me to play, so I'm hoping you'll enjoy it as well. (I did manage to beat the game at the lowest level, so there's that.)
I do like that it can teach you some of the basics at the lower levels. It's also nice that it provides you a couple of virtual glasses of wine along with a fireplace and some friendly music (which you can turn off, if you like).
