Imagine if your old Atari 2600 suddenly developed a personality during a computer golf game. That's basically what's happening in the Cheap Golf game, with the added bonus that the computer AI is a little bit crazy. You'll be laughing out loud at some of the wacky conversations you find yourself in.
In Cheap Golf, your goal is to putt the ball into the hole, dodging a wide variety of obstacles. You have unlimited attempts, but you must make par before moving to the next level. In between levels, the computer AI, whose name is Susan (or at least it becomes Susan) talks to you. And this AI has some pretty interesting observations about you, reality, the internet, and other topics.

How to Play Cheap Golf Retro Computer Game
To play, click or tap the ball, and then drag in the opposite direction you want to putt. The farther back you draw, the harder you'll hit the ball. At the top of the screen, you'll see a goal that indicates par for each level. You must make or beat the par goal in order to reach the next level in this mini golf game.
There are a variety of obstacles, but mostly they involve either solid blocks, wind, lasers, "breakout" blocks, and teleporters.
Tips and Tricks
If at first you don't succeed, keep trying! If the par is just one shot, then there's going to be a way to do it.
The ball moves faster on some levels than on others. Count the dots between your cursor and the ball. If you find that the ball goes too far, you can use those dots as a guide to help you putt the ball a little more softly the next time.
Cheap Golf Game Review
This game is challenging, but not impossible. Or at least not until some of the higher levels. I literally found myself laughing out loud at the computer's comments in between levels. I also rather enjoyed the retro graphics, which reminded me of the simpler days of yesteryear...
