In Stack Smash, you control a little bouncy ball on top of a rotating stack of disks. Your goal is to smash through each disk to reach the bottom. You can break the disks by smashing through the colored area, but if you try to smash through the black section, you'll break your ball instead!
Sometimes you'll see a large group of colored sections, which can be a real blast to break through. But be careful as you smash your way through those groups, because your ball heats up and becomes more likely to break once it reaches a black section. You have a little leeway when it comes to the black sections, but the weaker your ball is, the more likely it is to break.
Instructions
Click your mouse or tap the screen when the ball is on top of a colored section in the stack. To break through multiple colored disks, click (or tap) and hold. Release when the ball is about to hit a black section of the stack.
Tips and Tricks
There's no time limit on this game, so theoretically you could just smash through one disk at a time - but where's the fun in that? Basically, just watch what's coming up, and release a little bit before you reach the black sections.
Stack Smash Review
This is a surprisingly fun little game that lets you blow off a little steam with wanton destruction. I find it particularly cathartic to blast through big chunks of the tower, and I'm kinda hoping to see what happens when I get a long enough path to set the ball on fire! Thus far, I've managed to get 1,803 points before breaking my ball, but I'm hopeful that I'll find another good run that lets me really get going.
The game itself is pretty simple, but the graphics are pretty decent, and it rewards you with a nice little celebration once you reach the bottom of each stack.
